Adrenal gland function is complex and often underrated in medicine as to its role in overall health. This is even more of a problem in chronically ill patients. In this presentation, we will look at the assessment
of adrenal function, how the function can be affected by acute and chronic illness and how to monitor
and manage a patient through these changes. Natural therapies and prescription agents will be
discussed including how they may be used to support one another. Topics such as tapering, suppression
